Megan uses a client-centered and holistic approach to treat her clients. Her main objective is to develop independence and improve functional capacity in all daily tasks, whether difficulties and limitations are in self-care, leisure, or work tasks. Megan creates programs based on task-simulation and providing the “just-right” challenge to allow for an optimal recovery. At Action Sport Physio, Megan also provides specialized on-site workstation evaluations and equipment recommendation to promote proper postural habits in the workplace.
Megan graduated from McGill University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and is currently a member of l’Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ) as well as the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
In her time at McGill, Megan worked in hospital, clinic, and CLSC settings with a variety of adults and older adults who presented with orthopedic and neurological conditions. She also worked with children with motor, sensory, and behavioral difficulties. Megan has experience as a student therapist for the McGill Varsity Soccer teams, doing sport tapings, massage, and providing on-site first aid.
Outside the clinic, Megan remains active by playing soccer and training in kyokushin karate.
